Your unique dental experience begins the moment you walk through the doors of Carmel West Dentistry. Our friendly team will greet you by name, help you with your insurance forms, treat you with kindness and make sure you don’t spend a lot of time in our reception area.

And while you’re in our reception area, you can enjoy our coffee and juice bar. You can also check your e-mail, pay bills online or just surf the Web at a computer station reserved for patients.

During your appointment, you’ll receive one-on-one care customized to your needs. Dr. Halsema takes the time to listen to your concerns, explain each procedure and answer all your questions. And to make sure you are always as comfortable as possible, she uses the latest, gentlest equipment and techniques while you sit back comfortably in a state-of-theart dental chair with custom-heating and automatic massage.

And, if you’d like to relax even more, you can listen to a CD or watch a movie while she enhances your smile. While relaxing in the chair, you’ll also discover that she uses ultramodern electric handpieces without the loud “whining” sound so you’ll have to listen closely to even tell she’s using them. "As a young student, my two favorite subjects were art and science. As I grew older, I developed a fascination with medicine, as well. When I took a good look at dentistry, I saw a perfect fit - a combination of both art and science. Now I spend my days helping people by enhancing their smiles. I love what I do for a living and can't imagine doing anything else."
